Thank you very much for your great respond to our web site. Your support means a lot and we hope we can make the web site more useful. We have spent thousands of hours to make this web site. In the year 2003 when I visited Tehran, with all the difficulties I stayed there for two and a half months to do this project. It was very hard for me to see broken gravestones from 4-5 years old child. I asked myself where are the parents and family? Do they remember that they have a loved one at Beheshtieh? The revolution made many Persian to escape to different part of the world. My intention was to make the web site and let their family see the graveyard. We strongly believe it makes a different for all. There are still many pages to add. As far as I remember I took almost 90% of all the gravestones. Are there any missing? It is possible and I did try my best to make a data based file to make it easier for everyone to find their loved ones. A DVD of all the gravestones will be published soon. Please understand that we can not find for you any gravestone. It is listed alphabetically as best we could get the names from the stones. Some stone was washed out and we named them unknown. I would like to thank all the viewer for their support. Please fill up the guest book after viewing the site. Thank you very much for visiting Beheshtieh.com Shahram Farzan |
